My first video visit with Rick was bittersweet - It's happiness and sadness. Seeing him makes me happy, but also feeling the weight of his situation makes it hard to hold it together. He deserves to be free.

Every evening revolves around his call, and the wait is absolutely nerve-wracking. When that call doesn't come by a certain time, panic floods me, wondering if something has happened to him.  This isn't normal or easy; the time crawls by and causes anxiety that's beyond words. The terror of not knowing if he's okay there is brutal. 

While my own anxiety is immense, I'm certain it's nothing compared to what he's enduring. This whole ordeal is truly terrible, and it's an injustice that it's happening. This individual is responsible for creating this nightmare, and her actions are clearly those of an insane psychopath.

Life changed the moment the accusations were made. Then came the search warrant on our home, bringing sheer terror. They invaded every corner of our lives, and the humiliation of what our neighbors might be thinking was overwhelming. My mind felt like a carton of BBs spilled on the floor, scattering in every direction so fast I couldn't grasp a single thought or keep up.  The arrest followed, on our 32nd wedding anniversary. With the arrest came a no-contact order. This is not my opinion, this is undeniable proof of her insanity, delivered while she was actively violating a no-contact order. Yet we're the bullies? What kind of justice system is this? In one night there was over 100 calls, texts, and voicemails. my plan is to share those also, we'll see if my skills come through.
